watching has always been a popular attraction along Maine's coastline.
A "feeding ground" for these hungry, acrobatic mammals
is located just 20 miles offshore, so the chance of "sightings"
are extemely high! Dolphins, seals, puffins,
and other aquatic creatures and sea birds can also be spotted while
cruising in the Gulf of Maine. Numerous whale watching tours are
offered throughout Maine's coastal towns and cities, with the majority
leaving from the Bar Harbor area. These exciting trips are both
