         The following is a small sampling of some of the area's more popular lakes and ponds. More listings will be added in the future. For more information about the following lakes and ponds, pick up a copy of DeLorme Mapping Company's Fishing Depth Maps at one of the local area sporting goods stores or write to: Delorme Mapping Company, P.O.          DeLorme Mapping Company publishes the Maine Atlas and Gazetteer and more than 1,700 fishing maps reproduced in 17 volumes (by county) in the state of Maine. All fishing maps are indexed to The Maine Atlas and Gazetteer to provide easy access and directions.


Rangeley Lakes Region

Aziscohos Lake

Location: Parkertown Township, Lincoln Plantation and Lynchtown Township

Boat Launch: Yes - Aziscohos Lake is accessed by the ramp at Black Brook Cove Campground further down Route 16. Check with campground personnel regarding the dangerously shallow spots on Aziscohos Lake before venturing out.

Mooselookmeguntic

Location: Rangeley, Rangeley Plantation, Adams and Richardson Townships

Boat Launch: Yes - Mooselookmeguntic is accessed in three spots: Haines Landing at the end of Route 4 in Oquossoc, at the ramp located west on Route 16, six miles out from its intersection with Route 4 (toward New Hampshire) and the state boat ramp off of Upper Dam Road on the southern shore of the lake. Jetskis are prohibited on Mooselookmeguntic and Cupsuptic lakes.
