Family oriented, small sandy beach with gentle surf on the Cape Neddick peninsula near Nubble Lighthouse.
Amenities: Large Bathhouse, Outside Shower, Playground, Basketball Courts, Pavilion, Lifeguards. There are benches along the boardwalk on the beach, as well as an arcade and bowling alley. The front entrance to York's Wild Kingdom Zoo and Amusement Park is also nearby. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Concerts are held in the evenings during the summer months. Private, metered parking lots nearby. Location: First exit after the toll booth at the end of the Maine Turnpike.
