The Rangeley Lakes XC Ski Trails offer 35 kilometers of 14'-wide skating trails for novice, intermediate and advanced skiers and snowshoers, as well as unlimited backcountry skiing. The ski center is now located at the base of Saddleback Mountain Ski Resort. A Pacific Yurt warming hut is currently serving as the ski lodge until the permanent lodge is constructed. Ski rentals, wax, waxing benches, clothing, hot drinks and snacks are available at the yurt.

Saddleback Mountain Ski Resort offers a 4,120 summit, 55 trails, 5 lifts (2 doubles, 2 T-Bars, 1 Quad), a 2,000' vertical drop and 85% snowmaking. This resort also offers ski school, ski shop, rentals, a snowboarding park (terrain park & half pipe), base lodge, lounge, day care, on-mountain lodging, and magnificent views of the surrounding Rangeley Lakes from several of the trails.
