Baxter State Park
Baxter State Park, a wilderness area of 202,064 acres, was a gift to the State of Maine by former Gov. Percival P. Baxter. There are 46 mountain peaks and ridges, 18 of which exceed an elevation of 3,000 feet, the highest being Baxter Peak at 5,267 feet.

Chamberlain Lake Public Reserved Land
Chamberlain Lake is a group of parcels abutting the large lakes that form the south end of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway.

Duck Lake Public Reserved Land
Located in northern Hancock County about 70 miles northeast of Bangor, the Duck Lake Unit comprises more than 27,000 acres of forested land.
