Reid State Park's long, wide sand beaches with large sand dunes are essential nesting areas for endangered least terns and piping plovers and resting and feeding areas for other shorebirds.
From the top of Griffith Head, a rocky headland overlooking the park, visitors can view sweeping seascapes and spot the lighthouses on Seguin Island, The Cuckolds, and Hendricks Head, as well as several islands. Facilities iclude picnic areas, most with charcoal grills, a snack bar, and bathhouses with freshwater showers and flush toilets. Located on Seguinland Road in Georgetown, 13 miles from Route 1 in Woolwich (Take Route 127 south).
