Big Rock Ski Area offers a 980' vertical drop and 80% snowmaking. Night skiing, 40 kilometers of cross country ski trails, terrain park, half pipe, ski school, lodge with hot food & snacks, and half-day tickets are available.

The Maine Winter Sports Center 10th Mountain Center offers world class cross country and biathlon center with FIS & IBU trails (50k of trails) lighted roller ski loop and a full biathlon range with 30 shooting stations, lodges with kitchen, locker rooms, sauna and waxing rooms, all groomed and free to the public.

The Maine Winter Sports Center Nordic Heritage Center offers world class cross country and biathlon center with 12 kilometers of FIS & IBU trails, a 6,500 sq. ft. lodge with kitchen, locker rooms, sauna and waxing rooms. Lighted roller ski loop and a full range with 30 shooting stations. 22 kilometers of groomed cross country ski trails, 3k of trails lighted for night skiing, 15 mile of trails for back country skiing, and 15 mile of snowshoeing trails. Open to the public.
